Temporary Athletic Trainer

Deerfield Academy is searching for an Athletic Trainer to fulfil a non-benefitted, temporary assignment from January 2021 – March 2021, 40 hours per week. The ability to work nights and weekends is required.

Reporting to the Head Athletic Trainer and under the direction of the Director of Medical Services, the Assistant Athletic Trainer provides individual and team-based athletic training services to the school community, in coordination with Deerfield’s allied health team and athletics program.

Other duties related to the overall health and wellness of the community may also be involved.  Successful candidates must have a desire and ability to work with students, coaches, faculty, and staff in a residential private secondary school setting.

Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree, 1-3 years of experience as an Athletic Trainer, be NATA certified and Massachusetts State Licensed or eligible at the time of employment.
